What you need to know: NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Limits for 2025–26
The NDIS has announced some important updates to the Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits for the 2025–26 period - and we’re here to break it down for you in plain English.
These updates help make sure NDIS supports and services are priced fairly and consistently across Australia. They also give both participants and providers a clear guide on how claims and funding work under the NDIS.
The new changes will take effect from 24 November 2025.
Why this update matters
You might remember that in the past, pricing updates sometimes came through with little notice - which made it tricky for everyone to plan ahead. This time, the NDIS has released the details earlier, giving participants, families, and providers time to prepare.
That means there’s more opportunity to:
Review your supports and make any necessary adjustments
Chat with your Support Coordinator about how these changes might affect your plan
Make informed decisions before the updates come into effect
What’s changing from 24 November 2025
Here’s a quick overview of the main updates you might hear about:
Art and Music Therapy price limits have changed, following recommendations from the Independent Review of Art and Music Therapies.
Guidance for claiming ‘Other Professional’ supports has been updated, to stay consistent with that same review.
The COVID Addendum and related supports have been removed - as we move beyond pandemic-specific measures.
Updated Modified Monash Model classifications - used to define rural and remote areas - have been included, based on the latest information from the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.
Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) pricing has been adjusted as part of the annual update that aligns with the Disability Support Pension indexation.
Assistive Technology, Home Modifications and Consumables updates - including the creation, removal or revision of some support items, and clearer descriptions for community and recreational activities.
If you’re a participant, there’s nothing you need to do right now. Your providers can continue to make claims as usual.

New guideline for therapy supports
The NDIS has also released a new Operational Guideline for Therapy Supports.
It explains:
What therapy supports are
When they can be funded through the NDIS
Who can provide them
This is a great resource for anyone receiving therapy as part of their plan, helping you understand what’s included and how it’s funded.
